Aside from their sporadic promotional appearances for Korea’s online shopping website 11st, 2ne1 has been mostly non-existent in the k-pop world these days. Well yesterday, Sandara Park, the uber-energetic member of 2ne1 recently posted on her me2day account two short clips showing 2ne1 members’ Dara and Bom playfully waving at the camera and a group message (from all four members) greeting all their loyal fans. 2ne1 also informed us all that this month-long group inactivity makes them all bored and they are dying to meet and perform for their fans soon.

Due to the positive reactions of 2NE1 fans on the sultry “reggae unplugged” version of their hit single, I Don’t Care (performed by the girls at SBS Inkigayo special stage last August 30), YG Entertainment will be releasing the “reggae unplugged” mix as an online digital download to be available on September 4.

With this uber-hot mix set to invade major online Korean music portals soon, expect another hit and countless awards for the reigning queens of K-Pop, 2NE1.
