Sandara Park News Bites – Kiss And More Kissing…

Sandara Park, or Dara of 2NE1, is making quite a buzz in K-Pop land recently with the announcement of her management, YG Entertainment, for the planned release of her solo single “KISS” which will be available digitally on major online Korean music portals on Monday (September 7).

It will be the first solo single to be released by any member of the group 2NE1. Dara’s solo single “KISS” was originally planned to be recorded for the group’s upcoming full-length album. The company did not state whether the song will still be included in the album or not when it hits the stores in October.

“KISS” is written by the talented resident music producer of 2NE1, Teddy Park. Featuring a rap by 2NE1 leader CL, the song is described as a dance tune injected with a catchy and intoxicating chorus. YG Entertainment said the song definitely fits Dara’s bubbly and upbeat personality. The company also announced that they are planning to release other solo singles from other members of the group (2NE1) in the near future.

In other related news, some screen caps have been released on the net on the upcoming CASS 2X beer CF featuring Sandara Park and Boys over Flowers (Kgotboda Namja) star Lee Min Ho. With these two Korean big-name stars joining forces to create an alcoholic beverage commercial, everyone expects things to get uber-hot. Check out the preview caps below:

2ne1 – “FIRE” Single and Music Video Released

As promised by YG Entertainment, “FIRE”, the official debut single of their newest girl group 2ne1 was released today (May 6) at 11 A.M. KST. The official homepage of the group YG-2ne1.com have been releasing 10 second snippets of the tune since the start of May; the last sampler (which was yesterday) previewed a 1 minute version of the debut song.

But today’s digital release was a big one for 2ne1 fans. Not only did YG Entertainment provide a full version of the debut single, they also presented not one but two versions of music video for the hot-hot single (dubbed Space and Street MV Versions).

With the success of their unofficial single for LG Cyon “Lollipop”, 2ne1’s debut song “FIRE” will be expected to ride the top of k-pop charts in the weeks to come.
