Philippines Korea

Today I received an e-mail from one of the readers of this blog asking me if the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Manila has an online site for visa information and application queries. After searching the web, I found the Korean Embassy’s official website at embassy_philippines.mofat.go.kr.  You can also reach them via electronic mail at philippines@mofat.go.kr .

Although the embassy’s site lacks comprehensive information regarding visa applications and other inquiries, the website provides a useful link you can visit that caters to a wide-range of FAQs in regards to tourist visa applications, general immigration policies, living and accommodations in Korea, employment opportunities etc. You can reach this comprehensive Korean government website at hikorea.go.kr.

    good day to everyone!!!i am a pilipina and i was in s.korea before on year 2006 then got a problem on my work i am a e-6 holder visa before i run awayed for some bad reasons because the brother of my boss got hurt and in a few months i work in company for only 6 months then i go back in Phil.because my father died ..now i want to go back in korea and work in company to feed my family ..is there a posible way to get back in korea i voluntary surrender on sept.2007 ..how many years is the banned for a overstayed like me..pls help me!!..

    Hi i am a filipina working here in taiwan,I’m going to have a vacation next year,and i’m planning to go to korea for 3 days only then 7 days in the philippines then go back again here in taiwan,and i am confused which is better,coming here in taiwan going to korea then to philippines or from philippines to korea then to taiwan,do i still have to get a visa since i am holding a philippine passport,even if im going to korea just for 3 days?I do really want to travel in korea,please help,thank you.
