Philippine Embassy Seoul South Korea April 2012 Official Philippine Holidays
March 30th, 2012 by Anna

Since we have just a few days left from officially welcoming April of 2012 and all its foolishness, the Philippine Embassy in South Korea (located in Seoul), issued its mandatory announcement to all those concern in regards to the upcoming Philippine national holidays next month (April).

Philippine holiday

These upcoming events will be observed not only in the Philippines but on all consulate and diplomatic offices of the Philippine government all over the world, which includes of course the Philippine Embassy in Seoul.

Taking this into consideration, the Philippine Embassy in Seoul has recently announced via their official homepage that their diplomatic headquarters in South Korea will be closed to the public this coming April 2012 on the following days:

April 5 to April 6, 2012 – closed in observance of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday

April 9, 2012 – closed in recognition of Araw ng Kagitingan (Philippine Day of Valor)

Remember, during these April Philippine holidays, it is classified as an official non-working holiday, therefore all Philippine consular offices won’t be accepting any visa applications (if you’re a foreigner applying for a Philippine visa), passport renewals (if you’re a Filipino living in Korea) or any type of diplomatic services to the public.

So plan ahead and do some early appointments if you have any immediate things needed to address in the Philippine Embassy in Seoul next month.
